Book a Tour
Denver is one of those cities where it’s hard to know where to begin. Most people end up roaming up and down 16th Street and leave without ever truly experiencing the city that Denverites live in. There are two types of tours you should consider booking.
- Local Tours of the City
- Tours of the Mountains
A city tour is hosted by a tour guide who actually lives in and loves the city. Mountain tours are great because YOU don’t have to manage any of the driving or other things that come up with mountain experiences. Below are the tours that I recommend.
Denver Local Tours
These tours are basically in the Denver metro area and are great for the person who wants to experience the city and have no idea where to begin.
Mountain Tours
These tours are great for the person who doesn’t plan on renting a car while in town, or is unfamiliar with mountain driving (especially in winter conditions) leave the driving to someone else.
Other Unique Colorado Experiences
If you’re looking to do something a little bit different and aren’t sure what that could be while you’re in Denver. I’ve shared some of my favorite options below.
Please note: Viator, the company that I’ve shared has tours all around the world. If you’re visiting Los Angeles, Paris or somewhere else-Viator is likely there to book a tour.
Where to Eat
Denver gets a lot of flack for its food. And some of it is well deserved. However, there is good food in and around town. Here are the restaurants that I recommend.
Colorado Convention Center
If you’re visiting town for a conference and are looking for some places to eat that are relatively close to the Colorado Convention Center here are few of the spots that I recommend. I do want to mention that I’m assuming you have at least an hour and 15 minutes minimum for lunch/dinner because you have to factor in walking over to these places from the convention center.
